Ex-showroom is not what you pay. Pick your state and trim to see the road tax, insurance and charges on top — the tax alone differs by more than a lakh between states on the same car.
Pre-filled at about 3.5% of ex-showroom, which is typical for a first-year comprehensive policy. Your actual quote depends on cover, add-ons and the insurer — change it if you have a real quote.

Hyundai Venue N Line: The Sportier Side of a Familiar Compact SUV
The Venue N Line is Hyundai's attempt to give the regular Venue a sharper, more driver-focused edge without turning it into a different car altogether. Prices span roughly Rs 10.66 lakh to Rs 15.67 lakh, ex-showroom, across a line-up that includes the N6 with a 6-speed manual gearbox, an N6 with Hyundai's 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and the better-equipped N10 DCT at the top, each also offered in a dual-tone paint scheme for a small premium. Unlike the standard Venue, which is sold with diesel and petrol options depending on the trim, the N Line comes exclusively with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 118.41 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm.
On paper the N Line is not dramatically more powerful than the regular turbo-petrol Venue, and Hyundai has not pretended otherwise. What it has changed is the character around that engine: a sport-tuned suspension setup that holds the body flatter through corners, quicker steering response, and the kind of urgency that makes the car feel livelier in city traffic and on winding ghat roads alike. ARAI-certified mileage is rated at 18.74 kmpl with the manual and 20 kmpl with the DCT automatic, though owners report notably lower figures in heavy city traffic, which is typical for a turbocharged petrol engine of this size.
The N Line identity shows up clearly on the outside and in the details. Red brake calipers, N-badged alloy wheels, twin exhaust tips and red accents around the grille and body give it a visibly sportier stance than the standard Venue, without going overboard. Inside, the changes are more about mood than substance, with sportier upholstery and trim touches layered onto the same dashboard and touchscreen architecture that the regular Venue uses. Hyundai has kept the core practicality of the Venue intact, including its compact footprint that makes it easy to park and manoeuvre in dense Indian cities.
Safety provision includes driver, passenger and side front airbags as standard across the range, which is a reasonable base for this segment though buyers wanting the absolute highest safety ratings should compare against newer rivals before deciding. Where the N Line genuinely earns its badge is in how it drives: it rewards a driver who wants to have a bit of fun with daily commuting without stepping up to a hot hatch or a larger SUV, and the DCT variants in particular make stop-start city driving less of a chore.
This car is aimed at a buyer who already likes the Venue's size and practicality but wants something with more visual flair and a sportier feel behind the wheel, typically a younger, enthusiast-leaning owner rather than someone shopping purely on back-seat space or fuel efficiency. Anyone cross-shopping purely for a diesel option, or for the cheapest Venue variant available, is better served by the standard range rather than the N Line.
Day to day, the N Line's 1.0-litre turbo-petrol pulls cleanly from low revs, which suits the stop-start nature of Indian city traffic better than a naturally-aspirated engine of similar size would, and the turbo lag that affected earlier small-displacement turbo engines is largely absent here. The 7-speed DCT, in particular, shifts smoothly enough in daily driving that most owners will not miss a torque-converter automatic, though like most dual-clutch units it can feel slightly hesitant in nose-to-tail crawl before it warms up. Hyundai's service network is dense across most Indian cities, and the Venue platform itself is a known quantity by now, which should keep maintenance predictable for the N Line's turbo-petrol engine.
The red-accented cabin touches and N badging are clearly aimed at a buyer who wants their compact SUV to look a little different from the one parked next door, and Hyundai has judged that line reasonably well rather than tipping into something garish. Factor in the dual-tone paint options at a modest premium, and the N Line gives buyers a way to stand out without stepping up to a noticeably larger monthly EMI than a well-specced standard Venue would carry in the first place.
