BMW Motorrad has officially launched its futuristic electric scooter, the BMW CE 04, in India, marking a significant step towards premium urban electric mobility. Priced at ₹14.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the CE 04 is aimed at customers who want cutting-edge technology combined with stylish design and sustainable transportation.

Powerful Performance and Range

Under the sleek exterior, the CE 04 is powered by a permanent-magnet liquid-cooled synchronous motor producing 41 bhp (31 kW) and 62 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 120 km/h, making it ideal for quick urban rides and highway cruising.

The scooter runs on an 8.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers a practical range of up to 130 km on a full charge — perfect for daily commuting and short trips within the city.

Convenient Charging Options

BMW has equipped the CE 04 with flexible charging solutions. Using a standard charger, a full charge takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes, while an optional fast charger can reduce this to approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. This makes it easy to recharge overnight or during a quick stop.

Advanced Features for a Smart Ride

The CE 04 comes loaded with premium features such as a 10.25-inch TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and smartphone integration. Riders can select from three modes — Eco, Rain, and Road — to suit different riding conditions.

Safety has been prioritized with BMW’s Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Automatic Stability Control (ASC), and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to ensure confident handling on all surfaces.

Availability in India

The BMW CE 04 is available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) in select metro cities across India. Deliveries began in September 2024, targeting urban riders who want a stylish, powerful, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional scooters.
