The new Range Rover Velar is now available, starting at Rs 93 lakh. Last December, the price went up by Rs 1.3 lakh, but now it’s reduced by Rs 6.4 lakh, making the starting price Rs 87.9 lakh. Let’s take a closer look at what’s changed.

What’s New with the Range Rover Velar Facelift

The updated Velar has some subtle but important changes both inside and out. On the outside, it has sleek pixel LED headlights and a new front grille with a black theme. The rear bumper has been redesigned with new scuff plates. It comes in Metallic Varesein Blue and Premium Metallic Jadar Gray colors.

Interior Improvements

Inside, you’ll find an impressive 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with JLR’s Pivi Pro UI. There’s also a new panel for climate and audio controls, along with Amazon Alexa voice control. The steering wheel, air vents, and center console have stylish chrome accents. The separate touchscreen for climate control has been replaced with a hidden storage space and a wireless phone charger. Land Rover says you can access 80 percent of functions with just two taps on the screen. It also offers wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration and a PM 2.5 air filter.

Engine Options

Under the hood, now you have two engine options to choose from. There’s a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 246 horsepower and 365 Nm of torque. Alternatively, there’s a 2.0-liter Ingenium turbo diesel engine with 201 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. The Velar comes with Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 system, offering different driving modes for various terrains.

Overall, the 2023 Range Rover Velar Facelift combines performance, luxury, and innovation, setting new standards in the premium SUV market.
