Tata Motors has showcased the Altroz Racer Edition at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 in New Delhi.

This is the performance avatar of Tata Altroz, which has been introduced with a design inspired by the race car. It sports an attractive look with black wheels, black roof and a black bonnet adorned with white racing stripes.

                                                Also, the bright orange color on the body adds a sportiness touch to it. It was earlier showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo.

Feature of New Tata Altroz

The Tata Altroz Racer has a wide black grille and swept-back headlights that give it an attractive look. Also, ‘Racer’ badging is seen on glossy finished alloy wheels and fenders.

        Apart from this, the vehicle has a 10.2-inch infotainment screen equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The latest car will also have features like single-pane sunroof, dual-tone dashboard, power windows, automatic climate control, parking sensor and key-less entry.

Powertrain

The Altroz Racer has a new 1.2-litre, TGDi engine, which gives more power than the i-Turbo. This engine produces 125bhp of power at 5,000rpm and 225Nm of torque between 1,700 and 3,500rpm. It will come with paired of 7-speed DCT transmission. It will also have the option of a manual gearbox.

It will be introduced in the coming months and is expected to be priced at Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom). As per experts opinion, It will directly compete with the Hyundai i20 N-Line.
